The leuku is a traditional working knife for wilderness conditions. The blade is a three-layer laminate with carbon steel in the middle and mild steel on both sides. The sheath is 2,5 mm leather. The leuku is often worn on a belt with a smaller knife at the same time, the smaller knife being used for carving and the leuku for more strenuous work. The blade is about 20 cm long and the curlybirch handle is about 12 cm long.
